Tolerance Range

There are maximum and minimum limits with respect to the environmental factors such as water, light and temperature and these are called Tolerance Limits. The range between these maximum and minimum limits with respect to environmental factors where an organism can survive is called the Tolerance Range. Every organism has a tolerance range specific to it. For example fishes generally tolerate a narrow range of temperature. If the temperature is higher or lower than the tolerance range the fishes will not survive.
