11 July – World Population Day

On July 11th every year is an event known as World Population Day. The aim of this day is to focus the world’s attention on the importance of population issues. The Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme introduced it in 1989.

Theme of 2023:“A world of 8 billion: Towards a resilient future for all – Harnessing opportunities and ensuring rights and choices for all”


28 July – World Nature Conservation Day

World Nature Conservation Day is observed annually on July 28th.

Theme – ”Sustaining all life on Earth”
