2nd February – World Wetlands Day

World Wetlands Day occurs annually on February 2 marking the date of adoption of the Convention on Wetlands on February 2 1971 held a Ramsar ,Iran also called as the Ramsar Convention. A theme is adopted every year highlighting the issue of concern.

World Pangolin Day is celebrated on 3rd Saturday in February annually to raise awareness about these unique mammals and their plight!
